Two Opportunities to Serve Locally

Crown Point Elementary

Our tutoring program takes place on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5:00 PM at the Leigh Meadows Community Center. In addition to providing homework assistance for elementary students, we seek to create a sense of community through games and activities. This is a great opportunity to serve alongside your youth-age children. Volunteers are encouraged to volunteer at least two  afternoons per month.

Timberlin Creek Elementary

As Longleaf seeks to meet the needs of the 210 area, we know cultivating ties to the community will be an invaluable step in this ongoing process. We have partnered with Timberlin Creek Elementary School to make a difference in the lives of the children and help this school continue to learn, grow and succeed. Volunteer opportunities include classroom assistance, tutoring/reading, administrative help and much more.

Volunteer Requirements

All volunteers will be subject to a background check administered by the St. Johns County School District. Volunteers will also need to attend a Child & Youth Protection Training class at MUMC.

If you are interested in either of the aforementioned volunteer opportunities, please complete the contact form below. We will be in touch with you soon.
