Rev. Deborah A. McLeod
Debbie works with Mandarin’s outstanding laity in leadership and oversight of ministry. Most Sundays, Debbie preaches at the traditional services in the sanctuary (8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 AM).
She is passionate about helping individuals and families grow in a personal relationship with Jesus. She loves to see people connect with the church family in friendship and service. It matters to Debbie that Mandarin United Methodist is a church that is welcoming of all people. Debbie believes that children and youth have ideas and energy to share with the church family today, not just when they are grown, so children and youth take an active role in Mandarin United Methodist Church leadership.
Debbie enjoys reading and the beauty of North Florida’s natural settings. She is the mother of two grown sons, Will and his wife Kim who live in Virginia, and Jack and his wife Catherine who live in South Florida with their son. Debbie has served as Senior Pastor of Mandarin UMC since 2009, and as a pastor in Florida since 1984.
