Rev. Will Wold

Rev. Will Wold

Will graduated from Florida Southern College and the Divinity School at Duke University. Will has served for three years at Knightdale UMC, and as a chaplain at Duke University Hospital and Tampa General Hospital. Will was commissioned as a Provisional Elder at the 2015 session of the Florida Annual Conference.

Will’s role as pastor at Mandarin UMC consists of preaching, teaching and visiting people in the hospital, and other initiatives, but his work goes beyond these tasks. Will works with “Fresh Expressions,” Mandarin UMC’s effort to bring “church” to people in their own culture and outside of the church’s walls; working with the pastoral care area of the church, including Stephen Ministry and visitation; developing disciples within small groups on and off campus; and with Young People who feel called to full-time ministry.

Pastor Will’s family consists of himself and his fluffy white Alaskan Husky, Duke. Will enjoys playing basketball, being at the beach, watching Duke Basketball (he is a Cameron Crazy!) and drinking craft beer.
