Deeper Conversation

2 Weeks, along with one off-campus trip

Facilitated by Rev. Will Wold

Have you ever been in a conversation stuck talking about the weather in Florida or gas prices at BP?  So many of us want to have deeper conversations about life, worries, frustrations, fears, and faith yet we are unsure of how to have these difficult conversations. This class will help shed light on how to have more interesting conversations with family, friends, and strangers and how these conversations can lead us to sharing our faith.

The Circle Maker

4 Weeks

Facilitated by Rev. Gewanda Parker

Uses the story of Honi the Circle Maker, who prayer-walked until the rains came during a devastating first Century drought.  This story helps you begin to identify dreams and future miracles you can draw prayer circles around. God, who still looks for circle makers whose bold prayers defy human convention and invoke divine intervention is waiting for those prayers…

Sessions include:
1. Becoming a Circle Maker
2. Little People, Big Risks, and Huge Circles
3. Praying Hard and Praying Through
4. Praying is Like Planting
