Music Camp
July 20-24, 2026 | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Campers – completed 1st -6th grade
Volunteer in training – completed 7th grade
Volunteers – completed 8th grade and up, adults of all ages
Children will learn a musical through the week and perform for their friends, family, and community on Friday, July 24 at 6:30 PM. During each day of camp, the campers will rehearse, enjoy gym time, crafts & games, devotion time with activities, lunch (must bring lunch and water bottle daily), special daily themed snack (included).
Availability for the performance is required to participate in Music Camp. The campers and volunteers will stay all day on Friday, July 24th and enjoy a pizza dinner, and go home after the performance.
Children will receive a t-shirt to wear for the performance. Tryouts for special parts are done on Monday. Any special costumes required will be communicated by Tuesday.
The actual musical they will be learning and performing is still being determined. We will update the website as soon as decision is made.
The cost for Music Camp is $175 for 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with an option for early drop off (8:00 AM), extended day with MUMC Summer Camp (5:00 PM), and late pick-up (6:00 PM).
Volunteers
Completed 7th graders are welcome to participate in Music Camp as a volunteer in training. Must sign up under the Music Camper registration, the cost $75. The 7th graders will be working with older youth/adults, with the campers. We have determined this as a need to help them grow their leadership skills for volunteering.
Completed 8th grade and older are welcome and very much needed. Youth 8th-12th grade volunteers will work with the children and are required to participate in the performance Friday night. Spots are limited.
Adult volunteers can help in many ways. We need volunteers that will help with our daily special snacks, set design, costumes, etc. Adult volunteers are not required to have a camp t-shirt.
Music Camp performance volunteers work with the children and the music camp directors and are part of the performance. Requires shirt. Register under Music Camp Volunteer. Suggested donation of $5 to help offset the cost of the shirts for Friday’s performance.
