Celebration and Farewell for Pastor Jeff

Please join us on June 2nd as we celebrate Pastor Jeff’s final Sunday with “Jeff’s Final Florida Potluck!” This celebration will be held on the Mandarin campus in Wesley Hall. Lunch will begin at 12:15 PM with a special presentation portion to begin at 1:00 PM. Click here for more information about this celebration.

• Lunch – the church will be providing the main course as well as beverages. In the spirit of our love of potlucks, we are asking everyone to please bring a covered dish to share.  To ensure we get a nice variety of food, we have divided up dish categories by the first letter of your last name: 

• • • A-K: please bring an appetizer 
    • L-R: please bring a side dish 
    • S-Z: please bring a dessert 

• Attire – As our time together on the 2nd is in celebration of Jeff’s time here in the sunshine state, we are also asking everyone to dress in their Florida best! Hawaiian shirts, dresses, etc. – and it’s ok and encouraged to wear them to worship!! 
• Messages – We continue to ask the congregation to share messages as well as any special pictures for Jeff. This can be anything you feel led to share; a special memory, an impact Jeff had on your life or well wishes and advice (maybe for the snow!) as he moves back home to Pennsylvania. We will collect the messages and present them to Jeff on June 2nd. You can handwrite your messages or cards and drop them off at the church office or you can email messages to the church office at office@mumc.net and we can print them out for you. If you are unable to bring or send your messages ahead of time – don’t worry! We will have a place for you to put those messages on June 2nd.
